Functions

Discover Relifeme

The Functions were created with the aim of presenting the tools and possible platform configurations and allowing you to be fully aware when using Relifeme.
Before creating your LifeBook, it is important that you read the learning path we have written for you which contains simple user instructions that will allow you to know Relifeme and understand the interactions with your loved ones and with other users.

Talk to yourself and others will listen to you

LifeBook is the new frontier of social relationships which allows you to engage in a dialogue with yourself,for the first time. An inner dialogue, free from habits, roles and insecurities that inevitably affect you when communicating with your circles of friends and acquaintances. A sincere dialogue that allows you to close the many roads you leave opened; which gives you the opportunity to say what you would have wanted to do and say when you were alive, and what you have not done or said, but also to reaffirm your values and your beliefs.

Decide how you will be remembered

LifeBook is the logbook of your life, but it is also a novel way to write your memories for posterity.
On LifeBook you have a set of multimedia tools to publish words, images, sounds and your most intimate thoughts and to draw the profile of your memory and leave a mark. Because you will be the one writing about your moments and emotions and planning the social sharing of your biography.

Passing away with the certainty of remaining

Thanks to Relifeme you will be able to leave a small sign, an image of what you were and what you did.
Thanks to Relifeme you can pass away with the consolation of not abandoning your deeper affections but being able to somehow accompany them in their paths of life.

Publish your contents for whomever you want and whenever you want

LifeBook is not only the logbook of your life, but it is also the Place of remembrance and a tool to manage your contents.
You will plan the Posts, Albums and Tags that you would like to be sent. You will thus be able to reach your loved ones with a message and stay close to them.
A tree can have deep and branched roots and can continue to create new leaves.
In the same way, your LifeBook will speak with your voice every day to animate the meeting place of your communities and the most intimate circle of affections and friends.

Absolute respect for your will and privacy

Relifeme guarantees the respect of the mark you will leave and of the settings that you will be free to program on LifeBook to publish and send your contents.
However, Relifeme also protects the privacy of the people you will remember. And for this reason, you will have the certainty that the LifeBook contents will be disclosed how, when and to whom you choose. At the same time, all those people you address will be able to decide if they want to ignore the leaf of your tree that you left for them.

Freedom of expression and reporting system

Relifeme gives you the opportunity to use a platform to produce contents, free from any conditioning or control. An open platform that respects social, equality and democratic prerogatives. However, on LifeBook you can report every single content, for the protection of all users and for the people who have not signed up with Relifeme, who will have the right not to remember you or to listen to your voice.

Choose your Angels

In addition to the programming system for publishing Posts, Albums and Tags in your LifeBook, you have the option to choose Angels that will help you grow and strengthen the branches of your tree.
Look for Angels among trusted people, close relatives and friends, and ask them to guard your LifeBook, to enrich your communities, to remember you, and to make your light on Relifeme brighter and lasting.

Sign up and use Relifeme with awareness

It is important for you to be familiar with Relifeme and with all the implications linked to the publication of the LifeBook after your death because it will also involve the people to whom you would like to leave your thoughts. For this reason, we have prepared a path of learning for you that we invite you to read before signing up.
Access and donations
Relifeme is a Web App that can be viewed at www.relifeme.com on any phone, tablet, computer model and with all browsers.
The choice to make Relifeme available only on Internet was made with the aim of creating a platform that is as universal as possible and that allows you to use it minimizing the access requirements.
For this reason, you do not need to sign up into a store, download an app or have a credit card; you just have to have a valid email and an Internet connection.
The Web App's economic model is also designed to overcome obstacles and barriers, allowing everyone to sign up for free and to have the same set of tools and privileges.
There is only a program of donations from users and institutions to the Relifeme Association, established with the aim of supporting and spreading the ethical principles of the first social network that starts talking when you are no longer around.
User interfaces
Relifeme is a social network centered on a LifeBook, which is a personal diary located in the Place of Remembrance to be found and consulted.
All these places give life to the Map of Relifeme whose points of interest are represented with lights that identify the LifeBooks published and those reserved that will be available in that place after your death.
If you sign up with Relifeme you can start to customize your LifeBook and search the Map of other users to read them and share them.
In addition to the LifeBook and the Map, you also have a Home which is the area where you can manage your LifeBooks that you have chosen as a Follower, those where you are named as an Angel or a Friend and where to search for those of interest (on the Map or using the Advanced Search).
Legal terms
To access Relifeme you have to sign up with a valid email and read and accept the Contract Terms, Privacy and Cookies and these Instructions.
Before signing up it is important that you know some basic rules.
  • You can only have one user profile: that means that you can have only only one LifeBook in your name.
  • You cannot open a user profile for another person, even if it is a close relative: that means that you cannot have a LifeBook in your name which remembers a person other than yourself.
  • You are responsible for the truthfulness and veracity of your information and contents no matter the format you use to save or import it on the LifeBook.
  • You are responsible for any consequences that may arise from the incorrectness and inaccuracy of your information and contents.
  • In particular, you are responsible for the truthfulness and veracity of your information and content related to other people that you mention, in any way whatsover, on the LifeBook.
  • You are aware that any information and content that mentions another person, or events in any way related to them, can be reported by the person to whom the information or content refer and by any user, because they are deemed offensive, untruthful, inappropriate or simply unwelcome, and that this right cannot be prevented by you in any way.
  • You are obliged to enter a valid email address in the name of each person you mention in the information and content to allow them to be informed of the publication of data concerning them and to enable them to exercise their right to report it and, in in any case, to ignore it and not to follow up on your requests to participate.
  • You are aware that you can program all your information and content to be published after your death; however, this does not in any way constitutes a binding trust, because this information and content is subject to evaluation of fairness and truthfulness and, more generally, it is required to comply with the international laws and regulations.
  • You are aware that you can access all the functions of the Relifeme Web App using Internet browsers that you can configure from their respective menus or from those of your devices (smartphone or computer), and that the geolocator function that locates your position on all Relifeme maps is determined using Internet browsers, and can always be disabled from there.
  • You are aware that non-compliance with these fundamentals and more generally with what is stipulated in the Contract Terms, Privacy and Cookies, will lead to the cancellation of your profile and of the information and contents associated with it.
  • You must also be sure that if you follow what is stipulated in the Contract Terms, Privacy and Cookies, Relifeme guarantees you the maximum availability, integrity and confidentiality of your personal information, configurations and instructions. All your data will be kept with the utmost care and absolute respect of the wishes you will leave behind, even after your death.
You will find the protection and responsibilities, rights and duties, opportunities and limits of Relifeme detailed in the Contract Terms, Privacy and Cookies. We ask you to read them before accepting.
The Contract Terms, Privacy and Cookies are only available in English, as it is necessary in an international context. They are drafted in a legal form for your protection and that of other users that you involve. However, you have the possibility to read these Instructions and Principles, both designed to let you know and evaluate the Relifeme social network, in your own language.
First access
Once you have registred, you need to enter your personal identification data, choose your Place of Remembrance on the Map of Relifeme and start a LifeBook.
The Place of Remembrance is the light you switch on on the Map of Relifeme and which represents your LifeBook and therefore yourself. For this reason, the moment you imagine it, you must feel free from any conditioning and official data, because this is the territory that belongs to you and to which you feel you belong; it is the place where you recognize yourself, the one linked to your memories and your innermost self.
Once you have entered all the required data, that you will always be able to update, you can choose to activate or suspend the LifeBook. If you suspend it, it will not be published automatically after your death has been verified.
At the end of the basic setting path, you can start saving your content and writing on LifeBook.
User experiences
Relifeme offers you a double experience: one during your lifetime; the other starting after verification of your death.
In the first, you will use the LifeBook in real time as your secret diary, designed to write thoughts; to save photos, videos and voice notes; to mark points of interest; to remember important people, your values, your ideas and your world of relationships and knowledge.
During this experience, LifeBook is your chance to talk without constraints or barriers, free of roles and insecurities that inevitably influence you when you communicate with others, directly or through one of the many social networks.
In addition to this inner dialogue mode, you also have another important prerogative as a Network user that is free and able to really be yourself: the LifeBook will only be published after your death has been verified and your secret diary will be unveiled only when you are no longer around.
This important prerogative also provides the opportunity to decide when eachpreviously saved multimedia content will be visible on the LifeBook and who will be able to read it. You will thus have the opportunity to plan an innovative posthumous publishing system that will allow you to talk to whoever you want and whenever you want; to address everybody or just your friend; to update your profile images; to send thoughts, photos and videos; to keep talking and to stay close to your loved ones.
As you tell your story on the LifeBook and set up the posthumous publishing system, with Relifeme you can also take care of others by consulting or following the LifeBook of the people you've met or just those you are curious about and that will enrich you.
On this path between yourself and the others, you may be named on the LifeBook of someone who has dedicated a Post to you, or who asks you to become an Angel or a Friend, or the Validator of his or her death or of one of its contents.
At the end of this life journey, the second user experience starts; the posthumous one, which begins with the verification of your death, which occurs when the LifeBook is published on Relifeme.
Although you are no longer there, this is a real way to participate because the platform continues to see you as a present user who publishes data and information, addresses to other users and solicits sharing and comments.
In this new condition, your LifeBook changes status: it is no longer the secret diary where you talk to yourself, but becomes the meeting place for your family, friends, acquaintances and simple visitors who will all have the opportunity to read and share your words. However, you will decide when the pages of your journal will be published and who will be able to access it, because you are the author and the director of your story.
Type of users
In Relifeme there are different kinds of users, with access privileges to the LifeBook that can also be associated with the same person.
With regards to a LifeBook an user can be:
  • Author: is the main user of Relifeme who sets up a LifeBook and is its sole and exclusive owner (LifeBook is searchable and identifiable with his/her name);
  • Friend: is a relative, a loved one or an acquaintance that the Author puts in his/her Relifeme contacts (the Circles) and that, for this reason, can access his/her LifeBook, but only if he/she signs up and becomes a Relifeme user;
  • Angel: is a special Friend of the Author who is entrusted with the management of the access to the user's LifeBook and some special prerogatives to contribute to the perpetuation of the Author's memory;
  • Follower: is a Relifeme user who decides to follow a LifeBook of another user and receives notifications on his/her publications;
  • Visitor: is a Relifeme user who can search the LifeBooks of other users to read only the public contents and, if permitted by privacy, write a Dedication in the appropriate section and a Comment on a single Post and Post in memory; a Visitor can become a Follower, but cannot be a Friend or Angel;
  • Validator: is a trustworthy person for the Author that has been chosen to certify his or her death or to unblock one of its contents, that was set up in publication mode Event. It is not compulsory for the Validator to sign up with Relifeme and therefore, he or she is not necessarily a user of Relifeme.
LifeBook
The LifeBook is organized into 4 sections: Cover, Wall, Album and Map that were designed as a standard model for everyone, but that can be customized.
The Cover is the main page of the LifeBook and includes 2 areas that you can personalise, but not modify: a header, with a background image and a profile image with your Thoughts in the foreground, and a left window with news about yourself, that identifies you. Some of these data are mandatory and you will need to provide them during the basic setup of the LifeBook; others are optional and you will need to enter them during the LifeBook's settings and in the Tags you create.
The main section of the Cover is the central one that you can edit and adapt to your personality with the publication of Posts to which you want to give greater visibility.
The Wall is the page of the LifeBook that contains all your Posts, those in the foreground of the Cover and those that you publish day by day.
In the Wall, the Posts are organized in a chronological list divided into years and can be read like the pages of your diary.
However, the navigation of the Wall during your lifetime and posthumously is different: in the first, the Posts are sorted by event date, in the second by publication date. In the posthumous experience, therefore, the Posts in the LifeBook mode will be published all together, starting from the date of your first Post (the one with the oldest date), while all the others (After the LifeBook, Date and Event mode) will be disclosed one at a time and presented as the last Post and, therefore, as new updated pages of your diary.
In addition to the Map of Relifeme with LifeBooks of all users, on your LifeBook you will find the personal map where you localize your places and contents.
This is the area where you can select and save the places that are important to you and that you want to trace on your diary and remember in your biography.
The Album is the page of the LifeBook that contains all your Media, and the place where you can save and organize images and videos, in the most common web formats.
The content architecture is organized by collections of Media, the Albums, sorted by date during your lifetime (when the LifeBook is your diary) and by publication posthumously (when the LifeBook is the meeting place to remember you and to keep talking to you).
LifeBook's settings
From the header of LifeBook you access the menu for the data update, the management of Friends and the programming of your posthumous publications.
In the Profile menu item, you have the possibility to update your personal data that you have entered during the basic setting path of your LifeBook and to enter the optional data that will be visible in the Cover, that you will have the possibility to change at any moment.
In the Circles menu item, you can add your Friends, including the Angels. Each contact has its profile tab that must contain a valid email, in the absence of which you cannot dedicate Posts and Albums to that contact.
In the Planning menu item, you manage all the posthumous publications of Posts and Albums.
In the Media roll and Cover update menu items you have all the media attached to Posts and Albums available and you can manage Cover updates.
In the Settings menu item, you manage the system for the determination of your death and therefore of the publication of the LifeBook, you choose the privacy of the LifeBook, you enable Dedications and you assign the prerogatives to the Angels.
You can delete the LifeBook at any time without leaving any traces of previously saved content.
LifeBook privacy
LifeBook has its visualization and fruition properties, extended to all content for which a specific customization is always provided.
In the Settings menu item, you can decide who will be able to see your LifeBook; these are the options:
  • All: visible to users of Relifeme, including Visitors;
  • Friends: visible to Friends, Angels included;
  • Followers: visible to Followers, Friends and Angels included.
A particular privacy setting you cannot change is the one that informs Angels and Friends of the existence of your LifeBook in Relifeme.
At the end of the path for the determination of your death, the system automatically sends all Angels and Friends a notification that informs them that they have been inserted into your Circles and invites them to access your LifeBook.
Posts, Albums and Tags
These are tools for writing in the LifeBook during your experience in life that will then become the memory containers during your posthumous experience.
You can write your Posts or tell them with an audio, directly on your LifeBook, as if they were the pages of your secret diary. Albums, on the other hand, are collections of images and videos that you save on your LifeBook, in the most popular web formats. Posts and Albums can be located on your LifeBook map to track where your memories are linked.
To each Post and Album you can link a person, an idea or a value.You can benefit from thematic containers that can be dedicated to someone important to you or to a keyword. These are the Tags of Relifeme that you can indicate with the @-sign when referring to people or, with the hashtag when referring to a concept. Tags are therefore individual collections of Posts and Albums linked to a Friend or a word, through which you have the opportunity to remember a loved one or to deal with an important topic for you.
All Tags are ordered in a list and have a dedicated section, where you can customize the Cover photo, enter a description and locate them on the map of your LifeBook.
When programming a posthumous content, you need to pay close attention when you Tag your Friends. They will always be notified when a Post or an Album that talks about them, is published in your LifeBook.
Privacy is predominant on the Tags that you eventually insert in Posts and Albums and therefore, if you set a restrictive privacy that excludes it, that Tag will not be published.
You can create a personal Tag with a Friend only, a Friend that you have previously saved in the contacts of Relifeme (Circles) and to whom you have assigned a validated email.
Privacy of the contents
Regardless of the LifeBook settings, each content has its own publishing, viewing and fruition properties.
You can decide when each Post and Album will be published; these are the options:
  • Never: available only during your experience in life;
  • LifeBook: published with the LifeBook;
  • After the LifeBook: after publication of the LifeBook (the content is published years, months, and days after the LifeBook);
  • Date: published at a specific date, even in Anniversary mode (the content is recurring and is published every year on a set date); however, if you set a date before the publication of the LifeBook, the content is automatically published in LifeBook mode, or every year on the set date, starting from the publication of the LifeBook (Anniversary mode);
  • Event: with delegation to a Validator to unlock, and consequently publish on the LifeBook, your Post or Album on a particular occasion.
    With this mode, you can leave a message to a loved one for a future circumstance (diploma, graduation, birth, marriage, celebration) of which you cannot predict the times.
    However, you may instruct a Validator who, once the event has been established, unlocks your content that may then be published on LifeBook and notified to the recipient so that he or she can read it. The Validator and the recepient could be the same person or 2 different people.
You can also decide who can see your content; these are the options:
  • All: visible to the users who access the LifeBook;
  • Friends: visible to Friends, Angels included;
  • Followers: visible to Followers, Friends and Angels included;
  • Customize: visible to an Angel or a Friend, or to a group of Angels or Friends that you choose;
  • Message for you: this mode allows you to write a message only for one person.
Although Posts and Albums have specific settings, the privacy of the LifeBook (who will be able to see your LifeBook) prevails over the privacy of the individual contents and therefore you can only choose more restrictive options to limit access.
Finally, you enable those who can write Comments on your content (Comments are only possible on Posts and not on Albums); these are the options:
  • all users selected in privacy can write Comments;
  • your content is avalable in read-only mode.
Cover updates
In addition to managing Posts, Album and Tags, you can program status updates of your Cover by publishing photos and Thoughts.
You can publish individual photos to which you can associate a Thought that remains in the foreground under your name, or an entire Album that alternates on the Cover. You can also combine the images and Thoughts with all the profile photos you used during your life experience and therefore have a dynamic gallery with which to express your deepest values, your moral and intellectual skills and talk about your true identity, the essence of your personality.
The updates of the Cover, the possibility to customize it and the different modalities of publication in the LifeBook of Posts, Album and Tags, give you the opportunity to interact with a diversified set of multimedia tools that enable the adaptation and characterization of your presence on Relifeme.
Publication of the LifeBook
The posthumous experience starts after the determination of your death and the resulting publication and viewing of the LifeBook on Relifeme.
The determination of your death is the most important information of Relifeme. This is the data that determines:
  • the transition from your experience in life to your posthumous experience and the resulting change of status on the LifeBook platform, that from your personal diary becomes the Place of Remembrance and a meeting place for your community;
  • the start of the posthumous programming of your contents and thus of the publication in the LifeBook of all the Posts, Albums and Tags and the sending of the correspondent notifications.
The system for the determination of your death is based on your Non access to Relifeme for a predetermined time period and requires 2 checks, with recurring emails sent to the address you provided during signing up.
An initial verification is set by default after 3 months from the last login.
If in these 3 months you do not access Relifeme at least once, the platform automatically sends you an email confirming your existence.
If you do not reply, the second verification will start after 3 months. You will receive another email with the same validation procedure.
If you do not respond to this second email, the automatic and mandatory path for the determination of your death will conclude and the platform will accredit you as a deceased user and will publish your LifeBook.
From the Settings menu item, you have access to some customizations options:
  • you change the compulsory period of time before the first No access verification;
  • you change the compulsory period of time before the second No access verification;
  • you add a third No access verification;
  • you add the Validator confirmation, at the end of the automatic mandatory determination;
  • you suspend the publication of Lifebook and consequently you block the system for the determination of your death.
The options at your disposal to change the mandatory time period of the first, second and third optional verification of No access are:
  • After 5 days;
  • After 10 days;
  • After 1 month;
  • After 3 months;
  • After 6 months;
  • After 1 year;
  • After 2 years;
  • After 5 years;
  • After 10 years.
To increase the security and the options of the system for determination of death, you can add additional email addresses to whom automatically send life-confirming requests.
All check emails of the system for determination of death are recurring every 24 hours and for 5 days.
You can add up to 5 emails, in addition to the login email.
Validator confirmation
The Validator is a trustworthy person that you choose to certify your death and to unblock one of your contents that will then been published in the LifeBook.
From the Settings menu item, you can activate the confirmation of your death with the Validator. You can do this if you have added the third check of No Access or if you have left only the first 2 mandatory confirmations.
This additional system for determining your death requires that a third person you identify, who may also not be your Friend, verifies and confirms your death.
The Validator receives a notification that is automatically sent after you have not responded to the checks of No Access and from there he or she is directed to a designated web area.
In this section, the Validator reads your message, verifies your identity and confirms your death.
To guarantee the reliability of the system you may choose 2 Validators who can independently confirm your death (confirmation from only 1 Validator is sufficient).
You can also ask a Validator to unlock your Posts or Albums. This is a publication modality called Event, which gives you the opportunity to write a message on a specific event. With this modality you have the opportunity to write a message when a certain event occurs.
The Validator may be the holder of your message, or another person. In both options, the publication path of your content is the same.
The Validator receives a notification that is automatically sent after the publication of your LifeBook and he or she connects to a designated web area. Here he or she reads a message, that explains the event on which depends the Post or the Album, and he or she unblocks the content, that remains unknown.
Once unlocked, the content is published on the LifeBook and a notification is sent to his recipient.
Angels
Angels are special Friends to whom you entrust your LifeBook and give some prerogatives to keep your memory alive.
To add a new Angel you need to access the Circles menu item from the top menu of the LifeBook and to manage the preferences associated to it, access the menu item Settings.
You can have all the Angels you want and the faculties you give to them are for the entire group and not for a single Angel.
By default, an Angel always has the option of:
  • blocking and resetting the Dedications that the users leave in the LifeBook and the Comments about the Posts and Posts in memory;
  • adding a new Friend or a new Angel who inherits the privacy settings of the LifeBook and of every single content that you have reserved for all your Angels and Friends.
To these default functionalities for Angels, you can choose to assign the following options:
  • add to the Cover the information about the date of your death;
  • add to the Cover the information about the place of your death;
  • add to the Cover the information about the place where your remains will be conserved;
  • add to the Cover the information about the cause of your death (all collectively referred to as Posthumous informations);
  • write Posts in memory.
Regardless of the prerogatives you assign to the whole group, an Angel cannot in any way:
  • see your Angel or your Friend;
  • cancel one of your contents;
  • modify one of your posthumous programming for the publication of contents or for the update of the Cover;
  • modify the Cover and any other page of the LifeBook;
  • modify your settings of the LifeBook or the setting of every single content.
Each Angel is notified of the role you have assigned to him, but he can refuse it, just as he can stop being your Angel whenever he wants.
After accepting the assignment, the Angel can receive Reports from Relifeme users who have the opportunity to send him information and content that concerns you and to indicate connections with other LifeBooks, Relifeme users and non-registered people who may be interested in becoming your Angels and Friends.
Posts in memory
The Angels guard and perpetuate your image, adding new Friends and Angels and organizing moments of recollection in memory of you.
These are the Posts in memory that each Angel, if authorized by you, can write in your LifeBook.
From the main menu of the LifeBook, under the Settings item, you can give the Angels the possibility to write Posts in memory and also the possibility:
  • of setting the privacy of the Posts in memory, to decide who will be able to see them;
  • to consent or not to the Comments under the Posts in memory.
In relation to this 2 options you can choose between the following items:
  • All: the users accessing the LifeBook can see and comment the Posts in memoria written by the Angels;
  • Friends: the Friends, Angels included, can see and comment the Posts in memory;
  • Followers: the Followers, Friends and the Angels included, can see and comment the Posts in memory.
Although the Posts in memory have specific settings, the privacy of the LifeBook (who will be able to see your LifeBook) is predominant on the privacy of the individual Post in memory and therefore you can only choose more restrictive options to limit access.
Starting from privacy options that you have decided, the Angels, in turn, can only adopt more restrictive options on each Post in memory that they publish on your LifeBook.
Home
The platform also includes a Home to which you can access by clicking on the logo of Relifeme on the top left of LifeBook page.
Just as the LifeBook is the tool to dialogue with yourself and to write your story, the Home is the user interface that allows you to take care of the LifeBooks you have chosen as Followers and those where you are called as Angel or Friend (your Community).
From the Home, you can follow all their Posts and Albums and you have Messages for you, Dedicated tags and your Favorites in the foreground.
From the Home, you can also access the Map and Advanced Search to find LifeBooks of interest and you are always updated on the latest LifeBook publications linked to your data and profile (Recommended).
Angels and Friends, Favorites, Recommended, and Advanced Search management will be available on the Home when the community of users of Relifeme will be consolidated and when you receive the firsts notifications.
Notifications
All the activities that you program on a LifeBook will start after the determination of your death and determine the sending of specific notifications.
As the Author of your LifeBook you are therefore a promoter of such notifications and at the same time, as a Relifeme user, you are a potential recipient.
The Authors of the LifeBooks you follow, or those who have left a message for you, may send you the following types of notifications that you can activate or block when you sign up or at any time from your Home menu or from your LifeBook:
  • Angel: requests to become the Angel of an Author;
  • Friend: requests to become the Friend of an Author;
  • Validator: requests to become the Validator of the death of an author or one of its contents;
  • Message for you: Posts and Albums to which an Author has associated your name;
  • Dedicated tag: Posts and Albums that contain a Tag with your name;
  • Posts and Albums: Posts and Albums published posthumously by the Author on LifeBook of which you are Angel, Friend or Follower;
  • Posts in memory: the Posts in memory published by the Angels on LifeBooks of which you are Angel, Friend or Follower;
  • Dedications: Dedications that users leave on every LifeBook of which you are Angel, Friend or Follower;
  • Comments: Comments written by the users on every LifeBook of which you are Angel, Friend or Follower;
  • Reports from LifeBook: false or inappropriate indications of Dedications and Comments and additional information on LifeBooks where you are called to participate as an Angel.
The management of the notifications is particularly rigorous, mainly for the Posts and Albums you create on your LifeBook. The awareness that a content will be submitted after your death to someone who may find it invasive or simply linked to emotions that he or she does not want to relive requires specific privacy policies.
Therefore, the notification submission system has 2 different paths, depending on whether your contact is:
  • a person who has not signed up with Relifeme;
  • a user of Relifeme.
In the case of a contact that has not signed up, an email informing him or her of the existence of Relifeme and of the existence of an anonymous notification will be sent, suggesting 2 different options:
  • SIGN UP;
  • I DO NOT PARTICIPATE.
If a person who has not signed up with Relifeme selects SIGN UP, he or she accepts the notifications and signs up. Once he or she has become a user, he or she will be able to read your contents in the LifeBook.
If the notification is about the confirmation of your death or the request to unlock your content, as a Validator, there is no obligation to sign up.
If the person who has not signed up with Relifeme selects I DO NOT PARTICIPATE, then he or she rejects the notification and blocks all the future notifications, both yours and those from other users.
A person who has not signed up with Relifeme, whichever option he or she chooses, when becoming a Relifeme user, will always be able to:
  • block the notifications at any moment, before signing up or from his or her Home or LifeBook;
  • unblock the notifications to retrieve all the notifications he or she has previously refused.
In the event where your Friend is a Relifeme user, the notifications management is the one internal to the Web App, (from Home or from LifeBook) and in LifeBooks of which he or she is Angel, Friend or Follower, according to the configurations previously seen.
Searching for a LifeBook
From Home, you can find LifeBooks of all users by browsing the Map of Relifeme and by using the system of filters of the Advanced search.
On the Map you will find the placeholders of the LifeBooks (the green lights) and the placeholders of the Reservations of the places that will host them after their publication (the white lights).
A green light can represent a single LifeBook, which you can access directly, or a group of LifeBooks. In this case, if you click on the green light, you will open a list of LifeBooks located in the same place.
The white lights, on the other hand, only indicate the number of reservations in a specific location, without any other information about their Authors.

Reports
You can report all LifeBooks and any single content, if you were to find false or inappropriate data.
You can also write a reserved email to the Angels of a LifeBook to communicate data and news of the Author, also indicating any connections with other LifeBooks, other users of Relifeme and people who have not signed up and might be interested in becoming Angels and Friends.
Conscious use
Relifeme is a social network that offers you a new experience and invites you to be a user who uses tools and functionalities consciously.
Here are some considerations on which we ask you to dwell on.
  • You need to be aware that the way you want to be remembered may be unpleasant and therefore some of your contacts may not want to read your LifeBook.
  • An Angel or a Friend may refuse your invitation or accept it and then stop following you. It is also possible that a Validator will not execute the instructions you have left for him.
  • In addition to the certainty that the LifeBook will be published, you need to be aware that all your contents are and will remain inviolable, along with the posthumous programming that you will leave and the groups of Angels and Friends.
  • You will need to have special care of the information you save on your LifeBook, as all may be reported and if it is found to be untruthful or in any way inappropriate or in violation of the law, it will be removed and your profile deleted.
  • If you join Relifeme conscious of the respect you need to have for anyone who would access your LifeBook and that somehow you involve, you will be free to open up a dialogue with yourself and with other people; you will leave the memories you want, write and talk to who you decide and when you would like to.
  • With the same awareness you have to live your experience of participating in LifeBooks of which you are an Angel, a Friend or a Validator, to whom, if you accept the invitations, you will be due to respect the wills and memories. You have to keep a similar behavior on LifeBooks of which you are a Follower or a Visitor because even though in the role of passing user, you enter into their most intimate sphere and interact with the sign they have left.
